Mijn werk berust vaak op de werkelijkheid en op sociale en maatschappelijke thema’s, maar ook op mijn eigen visie van de werkelijkheid.
Kennis op doen over deze onderwerpen en thema’s vind ik erg belangrijk. Alleen op die manier is het mogelijk je te verbinden aan je werk. Eigen observatie, geschiedkundige, wetenschappelijke en culturele gegevens zijn voor mij bouwstenen, die ik vervolgens gebruik om mijn eigen visie op mijn omgeving vorm te geven.
Naast het maken van vrije illustraties, maak ik ook werk in opdracht. U kunt daarvoor altijd contact met mij opnemen via het contactformulier.

My work is often based on the observable reality around us and social themes, but also on my own vision of reality.
Gathering knowledge on themes and objects is a vital part in creating imagery. Only through personal research is it possible to really connect to my creative work. Personal observation, historical, scientific and cultural data are the building blocks which I use to develop and design my own vision on my surroundings.
